Natural Bridge Wildlife Ranch is an engaging drive‑through safari park located about 25 miles northeast of San Antonio in scenic Texas Hill Country. Spread across roughly 400–500 acres, it’s home to over 500 animals across more than 40 exotic, native, and endangered species including giraffes, zebras, antelope, ostrich, wildebeest, rhinos, and more.

Visitors explore the ranch at their own pace in personal vehicles on paved roads, where animals freely roam and often approach the cars—making it easy to feed some from your window and enjoy up‑close encounters with wildlife in their natural‑style habitat.

Beyond the drive‑through experience, the ranch features a walkable “Walk‑About” area that includes a petting barnyard, Lemur Island (ring‑tailed lemurs and koi pond), an aviary, and opportunities to touch and feed friendly barnyard animals like pygmy goats and llamas. Guests can dine at the Safari Camp Grill, where local favorites like burgers and the famous zebra‑à‑la‑mode dessert await. Afterwards, browse souvenirs and gifts at the Safari Trading Post.

Established in 1984 and run by the same family for generations, the ranch is recognized as a Texas Land Heritage Property. It actively participates in species conservation and educational outreach, including giraffe breeding initiatives and outreach programs to raise awareness about endangered species. In 2024, it was awarded 3rd place in Newsweek’s national “Best Animal Encounter” category—the only Texas destination on the list.

Ideal for families, animal lovers, or anyone looking for a unique Texas attraction, Natural Bridge Wildlife Ranch offers a memorable, immersive safari‑style adventure all within reach of New Braunfels and San Antonio.
